SKILLS BOOTCAMP

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills, and fast track to an interview with a local employers like yourself.

We will be delivering a Skills Bootcamp in HGV Driving, funded by the Department for Education, to help tackle your driver shortage and make the industry more accessible.

The courses are designed to create a new wave of heavy goods vehicle (HGV) drivers. These are free and are available for adults aged 19 or over who are either currently in work or who are recently unemployed and live in England.

At System Group, Skills Bootcamps will be delivered using a blended approach of virtual classroom or classroom-based delivery on site, online and practical methods.

RECRUITMENT SUPPORT

A number of our funded pathways include a guaranteed job interview provided by you, the employer, as an element of delivery.

This guarantee provides participants with valuable interview experience and allow you to select the most appropriate candidate for the job.

Many companies use specialist methods of recruitment, for example through online aptitude testing. If your usual recruitment process means you cannot commit to the guaranteed job interview, then alternative arrangements can be made to support participants through your recruitment process. Participants should be offered a guaranteed job interview wherever possible.
