To work as part of Learning and Innovation team, the Curriculum Manager will help support the curriculum being offered by System Group to ensure its implementation and commercial success. Support the Head of Learning and Innovation in implementing new and innovative ways of learning and tutoring to boost our performance, quality and capability.


• The development and coordination of our curriculum covering business, management, green logistics and digital skills.

• The planning, development and management of all course training materials.


  • To work proactively and responsively with relevant staff and external clients in the initiation, development and implementation of all courses.

  • Research new course standards and identify appropriate new courses for specific clients.

  • Carry out course development, design and implementation, using third party consultants, if necessary, to produce high quality learning materials suitable for blended learning on System Group’s online Learning Platform.

  • Design courses with firm focus on student experience and learning effectiveness, using best practice in education and distance learning.

  • Liaise with our Quality Team, professional bodies, consultants and course tutors.

  • To review and update learning materials for System Group’s online Learning Platform, ensuring it provides an effective and engaging online learning experience for users.

  • To undertake such training, re-training and updating as may be necessary to continue to fulfil the requirements of the post.

  • To carry out the duties of the post with full regard to the System Groups Equal Opportunities Policy.

  • To undertake other duties as management may, from time to time, reasonably require, commensurate with your grade.

  • To ensure that you carry out your duties with full regards to Health and Safety legislation.


  • Meet System Group objectives by producing high quality materials via various technologies for a range of educational and communication materials.

  • Delivery of new course launches to schedule and budget.

  • Make improvements to the visual content and structure of training materials, focusing on providing the best possible learning experience for students.

  • Maintain a high-quality professional service, ensuring all work promotes the System Group brand, aims and objectives


  • Knowledge and understanding of curriculum delivery requirements that can be supported by face-to-face, blended and distance learning.

  • Knowledge of both apprenticeship standards and adult learner provision requirements.

  • Experience within an educational product development environment.

  • Good communication skills and a demonstrable enthusiasm for the use of technology in education.

  • Ability to work as a committed team member.

  • Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines in busy and pressurised work environments.

  • Ability to develop creative and innovative learning solutions to meet stakeholder requirements.

  • Experience in utilising a wide range of learning technology tools to enhance learning and assessment.


  • Project management capabilities, with an organised and structured approach.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Excellent digital competency skills.

  • A real passion for high quality education and learning effectiveness.
