This year System Group are once again proud to be offering HGV Skills Bootcamp giving learners aged 19+ living in the West of England the opportunity to gain their HGV licence for FREE!
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.
Skills Bootcamps are being developed by the Government as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and are being delivered in partnership with employers, providers and local authorities, to help people gain skills for life, help support skills demands in their local area, and ultimately – to help people get a better job.
Suitable for individuals who have no, or limited, prior experience (all participants must have a full UK car driving licence), to support them through the Skills Bootcamp in HGV Driving and into jobs in the industry.

Are You Eligible?
Are you 19+ years of age?
Do you live in the West of England?
Are you able to commit to a 12-16 week course?
If you're unemployed you must have been unemployed for less than 12 months (unless a valid reason, which can be discussed further).
Have you held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months?
Do you have 6 or fewer penalty points on your licence?
You must disclose any criminal convictions or pending convictions before starting a Skills Bootcamp (as this could affect your application).
Do you have use of a laptop/PC with internet access?
Are you currently living in England?
You must be able to provide proof of home address. (as some contracts are postcode specific).
Are you prepared to attend a job interview with a local employer/recruitment agency?
Are you prepared to go into a job as an HGV driver at the end of the Skills Bootcamp?
Must not have been on a previous Skills Bootcamp in the past 12 months.
Applicants will be subject to further eligibility criteria
Course duration does not include licence acquisition which can vary depending on the availability of DVSA examiners.
