DRIVER PETROLEUM PASSPORT

The Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) is an industry initiative backed by Government to ensure all tanker drivers in the UK are trained and assessed to a consistent, high standard. It has been created by downstream Oil distribution Forum - a partnership of Employers, Industry Bodies and trade unions.
WHY SYSTEM GROUP?
System Group are one of a select few training providers approved to deliver PDP for both practical and classroom elements of the PDP. System Group can run PDP courses nationwide to meet you and your company's requirements.
System Group are Grade 1 approved to deliver both elements of the Petroleum Driver Passport.
All PDP training will be based on the driver's expiry date.
All PDP training must be carried out 4 months before there ADR anniversary date expires.
FULL PETROLEUM DRIVER PASSPORT
The full PDP contains classroom training with a written exam (multiple choice) assessment, this will be alongside your ADR, and you will also take practical assessments, both needs to be completed every five years. Both elements that make up the PDP must be taken and passed no more than four months before the run out date on drivers ADR.
INTERIM PETROLEUM DRIVER PASSPORT
The interim PDP contains classroom training covering key content from the Industry Training Standard. With a written exam (multiple choice) assessment, you will also take a practical assessment in the industry sub-sector which is relevant to your workload. Must be taken and passed no more than four months before the run out date on the drivers ADR.
You are required to attend classroom training and practical assessments need to be carried out each year. (i.e: if ADR runs out 1st December, it is best to carry out Annual Training for the 2nd August to 1st December each year) Individual or collectively.
