Level 2 and Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
As a Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician, you would:
Work in a service technician type role
Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs
Identify and report faults
Vehicle repair is challenging, hands-on work - every vehicle will present a new problem to solve. You'll also need good communication skills in order to explain everything to the customer.
LEVEL 2 APPRENTICESHIP
Available to: Anyone progressing from a pre-apprenticeship or are entering employment within the sector.
Qualification: Level 2 (QCF) in your chosen vehicle specialism.
Duration: 12 months with one day release from employment per week for training.
LEVEL 3 APPRENTICESHIP
Available to: Anyone with Level 2 qualifications in chosen specialism.
Duration: 18 months with one day release from employment per week for training.
Qualification: Level 3 (QCF) in chosen specialism.
