

SUPPLY CHAIN WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

COURSE OVERVIEW
Warehouse Operatives work in a variety of warehouse environments. Activities include taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, maintaining stock records and documentation, and cleaning.
They are required to safely use a range of equipment, machinery and vehicles, as relevant to their role and setting. This could include mechanical racking systems, materials handling equipment (MHE) or forklift trucks.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this prior to taking the end-point assessment.

ASSESSMENT
As part of your qualification, you will complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA). In short, this assessment will help you to showcase the skills, knowledge and behaviours you have developed through the programme. For the final grade, you can achieve either a Pass or Distinction.
PROGRESSION
On successful completion of this apprenticeship, learners may wish to continue their development with further qualifications in in Warehousing and Storage, Forlklift Truck Operations, Driving Goods Vehicles or Management.
