DSA LGV Register of Instructors
The DSA LGV register is a three-part examination similar in style
to the car ADI examinations. The training programme will normally
cover 4 weeks to achieve the standards necessary to qualify.
Who is eligible?
You must have held a full licence in the category of vehicle you
wish to instruct on for a minimum of three years.
The Examinations
Part 1:
This is a theoretical examination consisting of one hundred questions.
A comprehensive understanding of the full syllabus is necessary
to achieve a pass in this examination.
Part 2:
This is a test of the Instructors driving ability. The examiner
will mark this to a stringent standard, with the candidate scoring
less than 6 minor faults.
Part 3:
You will be examined on your instructional ability by the examiner
carrying out a role play exercise at two levels.
