Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the ADI Register candidates must have held a full car driving licence for 4 out of the last 6 years. They must be a 'fit and proper person' to be entered onto the register, which means all convictions, of any nature, will be taken into account when applying. They must not have been disqualified from driving in the four years prior to registering. Full details are set out in the DSA publication the ADI 14 which is available either from the DSA or direct from System Group.

The Training

  • You will be fully prepared to pass the three part qualifying exam and will enjoy our commitment and support after you become qualified.
  • We recruit many of our own instructors from people who have attended our training courses.
  • We prepare you for the part one written examination; a mixture of classroom-based tuition and the highly successful System modular study pack.
  • The part two driving ability training is conducted in the vehicle; this includes all the core elements required to be successful in this stage.
  • The part three instructional ability training is carried out in the vehicle, and successfully complemented by an effective blend of classroom tuition and home study.
