Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a living, breathing ethos at System Training. We have a named senior member of staff who champions safeguarding throughout the company and five named designated safeguarding persons across our sites.

Our safeguarding policy makes it clear that all children have equal rights to be safe and protected. The policy and procedures help staff to recognise the additional vulnerability of some children e.g. learning difficulty or disability.

The policy covers the 5 all important R's:

• Record
• Refer

Our vetting and barring procedures ensure that all relevant staff have enhanced CRB checks which are updated every 3 years. We also have a developed Code of Conduct for teaching staff and a self assessment training tool which all staff are expected to follow and complete successfully. Copies of all relevant policies are available upon request.  

At System Training we are also a third Party Reporting Centre for tackling Hate Crime in the region.
