Training Quality StandardWe are one of the first training providers to achieve the Training Quality Standard in Logistics.The goal of the Training Quality Standard is to highlight high quality, high impact training, by looking at an organisation’s responsiveness, flexibility, expertise and commitment to continuous improvement.To obtain the standard, we were rigorously assessed to ensure we have the capability, the performance track record and the customer endorsement to make us a good choice for employers.
Matrix StandardThe Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.We have held this accreditation for over 3 years and it is just one of the ways we ensure a consistent high quality of service when dealing anyone who interacts with our business.
OfstedOfsted inspect and regulate training establishments that utilise government funding in an effort to achieve excellence in the care, education and skills of learners of all ages.Ofsted continually check performance and carry out periodical audits of organisations such as ours to ensure the well-being and long term achievement of service users.We currently hold the second highest grading with Ofsted for the quality of our learning provision and have done so for 3 years.
Positive about DisabilityThe positive about disabled people accreditation is awarded to those organisations that are positive about recruiting disabled people into their organisation.We make sure that we do not discriminate against anyone not only when recruiting but in all other areas of our business such as the provision of training courses, that is why we have proudly displayed the two tick’s symbol for over 3 years.
Investors in People is a standard for the way in which organisations manage and develop their people.The accreditation ensures any training carried out by an organisation is linked to business requirements and staff development needs to ensure the greatest performance. This is the same way in which we determine our customer training needs. As a training company we know how important people are to an organisation and how they can greatly affect business performance which is why we value our Investors in People accreditation.
European Social FundThe European Social Fund (ESF) is designed to improve the skills of the workforce to enable disadvantaged people to access and benefit from employment and skills opportunities. Since 1957 the ESF has helped millions of Europeans to get jobs, acquire new skills and find better jobs. As a training company dedicated to helping people develop the necessary skills to get into work, we value our relationship with the ESF and its benefits of getting more people into training and work.
We have held the Gold Award from the Cumbria Business Environment Network for 8 years and are one of the only organisations to have held it this long.The Gold Award recognises those organisations that have a fully implemented environmental management system and are demonstrating continual improvement of their environmental performance in an effort to reduce their impact on the local environment.We recognise our responsibility to manage the environmental impacts of our activities, products and services and therefore strive for continual improvement in overall environmental performance and endeavour to deliver courses to our clients which will have direct and indirect benefits on their environmental performance.
